This Privacy Policy explains how Memorio collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Memorio App - Learn Words and related services.
Information We Collect
- Account information: sign-in identifier, name and email when supplied by your sign-in provider, and language preferences.
- Personal word lists, their titles, words and translations, and search queries sent to our server.
- Analytics: user and app-instance identifiers, interactions, approximate region, device information, purchases and Apple Ads campaign attribution. We do not use IDFA for cross-app advertising tracking.
- Live Activity start confirmations and free lesson usage, used to provide your account allowance across devices.
- Learning activity data such as modules, session progress, quiz answers, favorites, and mastery history.
- Technical data such as device, app, and diagnostics information needed to operate and secure the service.
- Purchase and subscription status data received from Apple to manage paid access.
How We Use Information
- To provide the core learning experience and synchronize your progress across supported devices.
- To personalize recommendations, reminders, and study flows.
- To process subscriptions, prevent abuse, monitor reliability, and improve the service.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us host the app, process subscriptions, send notifications, and maintain security and operations. Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In authenticate your account; Firebase Authentication supports sign-in and Firebase Analytics measures app use. Apple StoreKit processes App Store purchases and Apple Push Notification service delivers lesson updates. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your Choices
You can manage notifications through your device settings and can contact us regarding privacy-related requests. You can turn off analytics in Memorio settings and request account deletion in the app. Manage or cancel an App Store subscription in Apple subscription settings; deleting your Memorio account does not cancel that subscription.
